Built with the best materials.
The only hybrid mound on the market.

Super Light Fiberglass

Portolite uses a unique super light fiberglass sheeting and bonds it to its foam core to create a light weight “Hybrid” mound that will last season after season.

Turfing Adhesive

Portolite’s turfing adhesives and process puts us a step above the rest. The landing zone on the mound takes more abuse than any other part of the mound. The bond created with our adhesive between the turf and mound insures that the turf will not break down for years or peel from the mound.

Water Resistant Coat

We use 3 different polyurethane adhesives in production of our mounds to ensure a durable and strong product that will not absorb water. We apply a “skim coat” of polyurethane before our turfing process to prevent moisture from entering our mounds.

High Density Foam

Portolite’s mounds take shape with a combination of Polypropylene and Polystyrene to create a light weight core for a cushioned landing.

Polyurea plastics

Portolite takes 30 years of experience with plastics to encapsulate the final product. We use a blend of the hardest Polyurea for our outdoor Game mounds, and we use the softest polyurea for our indoor mounds.
